Sevenoaks Greensand Commons Project

Kent Wildlife Trust

Sevenoaks Greensand Commons Project runs across 8 different sites in Sevenoaks, all of which are commons. The work involves lots of practical conservation tasks such as scrub removal, felling small trees (season dependent), footpath improvement, installing way markers, surveys and other community engagement activities. At the task days, all tools and equipment are provided, we just ask that you dress for the weather (long sleeves and trousers advised) and that you wear sturdy footwear, like walking boots. You will need to bring some lunch and plenty to drink too (tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided). Please note there are no toilet facilities on any of the sites.
